War Memorial Royal Canadian Mint Collection

1995 Special Limited-Edition Proof Set
This set includes the highest-quality coins of all denominations including the commemorative Peace Monument loon dollar. A sterling-silver Hudson's Bay commemorative dollar coin is also included. Unveiled in 1992, the Peacekeeping Monument depicts three peacekeepers: two men and one woman. They stand on two sharp, knifelike edges of stone, cutting through the rubble and debris of war and converging at a high point, which symbolizes the resolution of conflict.

2019 D-Day Commemorative Six-Piece Collector Set
This presentation includes a numismatic uncirculated example of all the denominations: five-cent, 10-cent, 25-cent and one dollar, plus two different examples of the 2019 D-Day commemorative two-dollar coin. One of the two-dollar coins will be a classic strike while the second will be selectively coloured. The commemorative two-dollar coin design takes you aboard a landing craft where Canadian soldiers are peering over the ramp as they approach the coast of Normandy (France) on D-Day, with a mission to establish a beachhead at Juno Beach.

Victory in Europe Sterling Silver Coin and Medallion Set     
This set marks the 60th anniversary of VE Day—Victory in Europe near the end of WWII in 1945. It includes a 2005-dated silver proof five-cent coin and a large-format bronze medallion depicting land, air and sea imagery on the reverse and the late King George VI on the obverse. A 36-page booklet is also included in the presentation, which details Canada's significant role leading up to the end of the war in Europe, and includes photographs depicting the Canadian effort.

RCM Navy Centennial Coin and Stamp Set (1910–2010)
In 2010, Canada marked the 100th anniversary of the formation of our own navy. To mark the event, the Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post have jointly issued this Navy Centennial Coin and Stamp Set. The collection includes a unique gold-plated navy collector coin, a navy commemorative stamp sheet, and a booklet outlining the history of Canada's navy. The collection is presented in an attractive aluminum case featuring a photo image from 1910 showing Canada's first navy recruits.
