2025 $20 Fine Silver Crown Jewels Coin Williamson Diamond Brooch

The Royal Canadian Mint has issued several different coins in the past few years inspired by exquisite jewellery in the Royal Collection, and all have these have been extremely popular. This 2025 $20 fine silver coin extends the coin series as it re-creates one of Queen Elizabeth II's most iconic brooches, the flower-shaped Williamson Diamond Brooch.  

The original jewel features a gorgeous pink diamond, one of the largest and finest of its kind, which was a wedding gift from Canadian geologist John Thoburn Williamson. The extraordinary jewel was cut and set into a platinum-and-diamond brooch completed in 1953, the year of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation, and was frequently worn throughout her seven-decade reign, appearing in family portraits, at state occasions and momentous celebrations.

This intricate and beautifully embellished coin provides a high-quality yet affordable representation of the original Crown Jewel with faceted crystals and a pink stone standing in for diamonds, all within a rhodium-plated setting. The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
