Just 7,500 of this unusual one-ounce pure silver collector edition five-cent beaver coin have been released as part of a new series that includes all of Canada's regular coin denominations. The coin includes a "W" mint mark to highlight that the coin was struck at the Royal Canadian Mint in Winnipeg (most collector coins are struck at the Mint's Ottawa location). The background field includes straight lines meeting on an angle in the centre inspired by the striking exterior of the Mint's Winnipeg facility. The obverse features the new effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.

As an exclusive bonus, an original 1937 beaver nickel is included with your purchase; 1937 is the first year that the beaver nickel design was issued. The obverse features the effigy of King George VI.
